Our mission is to foster a deep understanding of the science of food and nutrition, empowering students to apply their knowledge in promoting optimal health and preventing disease. We’re committed to educating future leaders who will address global food challenges with evidence-based solutions.
Nutrition is key to tackling rising global health challenges. As diet-related diseases like obesity and diabetes surge, the demand for experts in dietary strategies is skyrocketing. The Center for Disease Control highlights this obvious, but often ignored, truth: “Good nutrition is essential in keeping current and future generations of Americans healthy across the lifespan. People with healthy eating patterns live longer and are at lower risk for serious health problems such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.”
Our Nutrition Program will give you the tools you need to address these global health challenges. From the basics of food science to understanding full lifecycle nutrition, our curriculum is designed to nurture your passion for health and well-being, and prepare you for an impactful career in nutrition, dietetics, public health, or wellness coaching
